About me

I am a postdoc in the Göpfrich Group and my research interest and expertise are focused on DNA nanotechnology and molecular programming. During my master and PhD in the Simmel lab at Technical University of Munich, I used the programmability of DNA to create arrays of different DNA origami structures that enable biomolecular and biochemical assays. To study these assays, I have been extensively using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and super-resolution microscopy with DNA PAINT.

In my free time, I love doing sports (jogging, weightlifting, swimming etc.). I also greatly enjoy traveling to different places and learning about new cultures.
