About me

I am a master student in the Göpfrich lab interested in using bioprinting and DNA nanotechnology for the production of synthetic cells. Further, I am curious about microscopy and imaging techniques. I am fascinated by the idea of creating synthetic cells as a means to understanding the fundamental principles of life and finding alternative systems to biological cells. I also see a great potential of applying such synthetic systems in medicine and technology, making them all the more appealing. If I am not in the lab, I spend my time bouldering, reading and making music.
