About me

I am a PhD student in the Göpfrich lab interested in DNA hydrogels and their application both in synthetic biology as well as in medicine and technology. I joined the lab for my master thesis and stayed on for my PhD, fascinated by the versatile properties which DNA offers as a material. I now work on the formation of DNA hydrogels for different applications, while incorporating bioprinting and high-resolution imaging techniques into my work. If I am not in the lab, I spend my time bouldering, reading and making music.
